Project Description
This project involves replacing nearly 2.5 miles of welded steel pipe needed to supply drinking water to LADWP's service areas. The project includes 11,800 linear feet of 13-foot EPB Tunnel Boring; 11,800 linear feet of pre-cast concrete tunnel segment installation; 500 linear feet of 104-inch microtunneling with Permalock casing; 900 linear feet of open cut excavation; and 13,260 linear feet (2.5 miles) of 78-inch welded steel water line installation.
